A toyol is a vicious creature that resembles an unborn human baby. Brought to life through blood sacrifice, a toyol may choose to carry out the whims of its sorcerer. They are extremely intelligent and very picky with whom they associate. If a toyol does decide to adopt a human, they always consider themselves superior, often referring to themselves as the "owner" and the human as its "pet". Toyols feed on blood, preferably its pet, and will only remain as long as it is feed blood every midnight.

Blood Drink: A toyol can drink the blood of a grabbed victim with a successful grapple check. This attack deals 1 point of Constitution damage.

Improved Grab: To use this ability, a toyol must hit a Large or smaller creature with its bite attack. If it wins the ensuing grapple check, it establishes a hold and can use its blood drink ability the same round. Thereafter, each successful grapple check automatically deals bite damage and blood drink damage.

Light Sensitivity: Toyols are dazzled in bright sunlight or the equivalent.

Toyol as a Familiar

A 7th-level adept or higher may choose a toyol as a familiar (see the Familiar feat in True20 Adventure Roleplaying). Toyol familiars use the rules for regular familiars, with one exception: they do not gain bonus tricks because it's type is something other than animal.
