Giant Polecat

The giant polecat is closely related to the ferret and weasel.They are found in rocky tunnels or in burrows made by other animals. The polecat has a slender, dark-brown body about two feet long. They have very large, noticeable ears. Limbs are short and claws long and strong. They will hunt by night for small rodents, birds and insects using their keen sense of smell to locate prey.

Attach: If a giant polecat hits with a bite attack, it uses its powerful jaws to latch onto the opponent's body and automatically deals bite damage each round it remains attached. An attached giant polecat loses its Dexterity bonus to defence and has a defence of +2. An attached giant polecat can be struck with a weapon or grappled itself. To remove an attached giant polecat through grappling, the opponent must achieve a pin against the creature.

Skills: Giant polecats have a +4 racial bonus on Stealth checks and a +8 racial bonus on Acrobatics and Climb checks. They use their Dexterity modifier for Climb checks. A giant polecat can always choose to take 10 on a Climb check, even if rushed or threatened.
