Kirawa Village

Kirawa Village is a small village in Panau. The village is situated in the Navari Hills of the Eastern Karans, on the south bank of the river Navari at a height of 4,000 feet (1,200 metres). It lies approximately 80 miles from Molangor.

The earliest accounts of the village indicate that it was a centre for Ebon culture and religion. Inhabitants are now mostly Kedayuh who engage in rearing river buffalos.
The population of the village is about 1,000.

Kirawa is also home to the Vamachara and several Verasadhu monasteries and a burial ground.
