The Harathi people refers to the peoples that speak languages belonging to the Sundari language family. These populations are found mostly in southern Padmattiya. The Harastras culture is one of the oldest and richest cultures in Suwarnabumi. They have diverse origins with most tribes migrating or invading the Sundari region, having a strong influence on the culture of Suwarnabumi. The Harathi are known for their history of Sun worship, and harathi built some of the oldest Sun temples in Padmattiya. The Harathi state was later absorbed into the ancient Tarangaratna kingdom.
There is a significant population of Harathi in southern Padmattiya.

- Boro: Tribal people inhabiting south Padmattiya.
- Kaliyatran: Prominent Harathi-speaking people inhabiting the central region of Kaliyatra, mostly Langa and Taksaka.
- Karwaris: Harathi-speaking people that inhabit northern Panau and south Padmattiya.
- Samar: These people speak the Harathi language, and found in coastal Taksaka and southern Panau.
- Shimahnese: Harathi-speaking people inhabiting the island of Shimah.
- Talogo: Tribal people who speak the Harathi language. Mostly found in Padmattiya.
