Gulf of Elang

The Gulf of Elang is an inlet in the Laiak Sea along the west coast of Panau. The Anuravati and Black River empty into the Gulf.

Molangor, Sikong and Sumati are important seaports connected to the Gulf and central to the martitime trade routes of the Kaliyatra Ocean. Molangor is the Gulf's chief port since ancient times, but Sumati rose to prominence during the Pahanari expansion to Suwarnabumi.

The Gulf of Elang is known for its rich flora and fauna, housing a large variety of species not found elsewhere in Suwaranbumi. The native hawk-eagle is found in moist lowland forests surrounding the Gulf. Local Kedayuh fishers and occasional lulong boaters rely on the reef to feed their families.
