Flying Snake
snake.gif

Flying snakes are named after their ability to hover over short distances in the air. They actually glide rather than fly. This is done by flattering their bodies to up to twice their width. Still, the sight of a snake soaring through the air is an impressive sight that is not known to many who live outside the rainforest edges. The flying snake is considered shy in temperament, and will use its unique ability as a means to escape from predators.

Their habitat is mostly concentrated to the Palalangan and the Langa.
