Allamalatti (pronounced ah-lah-mah-lah-tee) or Malatti, is considered the primary goddess in the Tiyanak belief system. She is a spirit associated with the resurrection, as well as being a goddess of birth, rain, agriculture and animals (especially the peafowl). Allamalatti is referred to by many names in Tiyanak oral traditions. The name Malatti ("Maker", "mother of all") is the most common. Other names include: Spirit Queen, Mother of Tiyanak, Fire-Haired One, Earth Mother, Divine Mother, The One Who is All, Peafowl Goddess, The Witch, and The Oracle.
